irig 2 not working with garageband

I was just lazy to fix it as I had my amp, but it just blew last week and I desperately need the iRig to work. Yes I connect IRig to headset port and output of IRig works correctly but mic input not works. I'm upset and need some ideas here. Amplitube works with iRig 2, but not.
